FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine. Versions have in common the following: in device for relieving apnoea during sleep cover pieces or components which come into cohesion with dentitions are profiled for putting on user's dental arch. Each component or dental cover piece has first surface, which interact with user's either maxillary or mandibular dentition, and second flat surface, which interacts in sliding rest with additional flat surface of other component or dental cover piece. In accordance with the first version difference lies in the following: device also has transversely located pair of flanges, formed in one piece with one said interacting with dentition component or dental cover piece. One end of each flange almost rests against the end of one of additional transversely located pair of flanges, formed in one piece with said interacting with dentition component or dental cover piece. Transversely located flanges are elongated, have smooth shape and are located in such a way that elongated hermetic magnets, embedded into said flanges, are installed on more or less common straight line with longitudinal axes of magnets, adjoining flanges, and adjoin with their similar poles and, nearly resting, ensure magnetic repulsion force. Either device contains transversely located pair of flanges, formed in one piece with one said interacting with dentition component or dental cover piece, whose ends nearly rest against ends of additional transversely located pair of flanges, formed in one piece with other said interacting with dentition component or dental cover piece. Passing longitudinally, in fact, common cavities, formed in adjoining parts of said flanges, contain sinusoidally profiled elongating elements, made from material with shape memory, which has temperature of phase transition, equal or a little higher than normal body temperature. Said elongating elements slowly expand when heated by body heat. Said repelling force of magnets or said expanding force of said elongating elements during sleep-induced relaxation is sufficient for displacement of said interacting with dentition component or dental cover forward relative to said maxillary interacting with dentition component, displacement of user's lower jaw forward, with opening of temporomandibular joint and thus reducing possibility of upper respiratory tract obstruction. In accordance with the second version difference lies in the following: device also has hollow channels, parallel to sagittal plane and made in said flat upper surface of said mandibular interacting with dentition component or dental cover piece. Said channels contain sinusoidally profiled elongating elements, made from material with shape-memory, which has temperature of phase transition, equal to normal body temperature or lower than it. Said elongating elements on one end have pins, which are engaged with additional depressions, made in said flat lower surface of said maxillary interacting with dentition component of dental cover piece. Said elongating elements expand slowly when heated with body heat and provide sufficient force during sleep-induced relaxation for forward displacement of mandibular interacting with dentition component of dental cover piece relative to said maxillary interacting with dentition component, with displacement of user's lower jaw and thus realising displacement of temporomandibular joint. In accordance with the third version the difference is in the following: device also has transversely located pair of flanges, formed in one piece with one said interacting with dentition component or dental cover piece. One end of each flange almost rests against the end of one of additional transversely located pair of flanges, formed in one piece with other said interacting with dentition component or dental cover piece. Transversely located flanges are elongated, have smooth shape and are placed in such a way that elongated completely hermetic magnets, embedded into said flanges, are installed with longitudinal axes of magnets, adjoining flanges, more or less on common straight line, and adjoin with their similar poles and, almost resting, provide magnetic repulsing force. Either device has transversely located pair of flanges, formed in one piece with one said interacting with dentition component or dental cover piece, whose ends nearly rest against ends of additional transversely located pair of flanges, formed in one piece with other said interacting with dentition component or dental cover piece. Passing longitudinally, in fact, common cavities, formed in adjoining parts of said flanges, contain different from sinusoidal form of transverse section, such as round, oval, square and rectangular, elongating elements, made from material with shape memory, which has temperature of phase transition, equal or a little lower than normal body temperature. Said elongating elements expand slowly when heated with body heat. Said repulsing force of magnets or said expanding force of elongating elements during sleep-induced relaxation is sufficient for displacement of interacting with dentition component or dental cover piece forward relative to said maxillary interacting with dentition component, forward displacement of user's lower jaw, with opening of temporomandibular joint and thus reducing possibility of upper respiratory tract obstruction. In accordance with the fourth version, difference lies in the following: device also has hollow channels parallel to sagittal plane and made in said flat upper surface of said mandibular interacting with dentition component or dental cover piece. Said channels, contain different from sinusoidal form of transverse section, such as round, oval, square and rectangular, elongating elements, made from material with shape memory, which has temperature of phase transition, equal or a little lower than normal body temperature. Said elongating elements on one end have pins, which are engaged with additional depressions, made in said flat lower surface of said maxillary interacting with dentition component or dental cover piece.
EFFECT: invention ensures prevention of special selection and fitting with possibility for user to talk and swallow freely, as well as possibility of unlimited movement of jaw, and supports constant, convenient and relatively unobtrusive action of force for inducing lower jar to move in direction of protruded position, and for holding it in protruded forward position.
