FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: set of invention relates to rotary crushers and traverses for said crushers. In compliance with first version, traverse comprises central hub and multiple ribs. Every said rib extends from central hub to external rim and features, mainly, U-like section composed by two spaced apart ledges connected by brace. Center of bending stiffness of said U-like section is located above said brace. Ledges of every traverse rib are spaced apart to make a channel with open top end opposite aforesaid brace. In compliance with second version, traverses differs in that aforesaid channel is open at the end located vertically above said brace. Rotary crusher comprises housing, traverses with central hub, multiple traverse ribs and multiple armors of traverse ribs. Every said rib extends from central hub to external rim is composed by two spaced apart ledges connected by brace. Note also that every armor is secured to one of said ribs.

EFFECT: ruled out harmful torsion stresses.
