FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for construction and repair of a railway track, in particular, to devices for straightening of the track, and may also be used to compact ballast of the railway track. In the clamp body (1) there are hook-shaped levers (2) mounted as hingedly connected to each other, as well as a stop (4) connected to a stem (3) of a power cylinder, capable of interaction with inner surfaces (8) of the levers (2). On the stop (4) there is a shell hingedly fixed with rollers (5), which move along the levers (2). The inner surface (8) of the levers (2) has a wedge shape, and their upper part is made in the form of hooks (9). At the same time the stop tail is arranged in the form of a cam (10). The lower part of the cam (10) is capable of interaction with the wedge shape of the inner surface (8) for rotation of the levers (2), before the clamp gap closes on the rail head. The upper part of the cam (10) may interact with hooks (9) of the levers (2). Besides, the axis (6) connects to each other the levers (2) and is mounted in the body (1) of the clamp as capable of movement along the vertical axis of the clamp.
EFFECT: increased reliability of fixation of a clamp on a rail, efficiency of a clamp and quality of ballast compaction when using with a sleeper tamping machine.
