SUBSTANCE: perforation size and position are extrapolated on a flatbed template containing the vector lines with the characteristics of length derived from mathematical processing of the computer tomogram array. For this purpose, the measurement results obtained in three planes, namely along the vector drawn along the bottom of the nasal septum from the inner end of the hard palate to the edge of the nasal spine, and along the lines extending therefrom at a right angle from a point at the front end of the inferior concha, from a point at a border of the anterior and medium one-third of the inferior concha, from a point at the medium and posterior one-third of the inferior concha, and from a point of the edge of the hard palate. The extrapolation procedure is followed by staging the surgery and determining an amount of tissue to be needed, localising mucoperichondrium and mucoperiosteum to be used in forming the pedicle flap for plastic surgery on the perforation.

EFFECT: use of the present invention allows preparing the surgeon and the patient for the upcoming surgery, predicting the surgical outcome, anticipating the onset of certain complications involving the visible changes in the external shape of the nose.
