FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine and can be applied for implantation of toric intraocular lenses (IOL) in children. Marking of IOL position axis is carried out before operation. Preliminarily calculated axis of toric IOL position is set on target lamp with graduated in degrees position of light slit by rotation of light slit. Point laser coagulates are applied on eye ball conjunctiva in two opposite sectors according to light slit position. Dye solution is introduced into conjunctival cavity after introduction of anesthesia and installation of blepharostat, after that axis of IOL position is marked by dyed points.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to increase accuracy of IOL axis position, simplify operation technique.
