SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, namely a guidewire and a destruction catheter system with a cylinder. The guidewire of the destruction catheter with the cylinder comprises a deformed portion formed by bending and/or curving the guidewire within the region at 20-100 mm from an end portion in the longitudinal direction of the guidewire. For the deformed portion, the shortest distance between a central axis in the longitudinal direction of the guidewire and a point most distant from the central axis in a direction perpendicular to the central axis is equal to or greater than the smallest inner diameter of a cavity of the rod of the destruction catheter with the cylinder to be used with the guidewire, and is 40 mm or shorter.

EFFECT: invention prevents improper heating of the front portion of the guidewire during the destruction treatment using the destruction catheter with the cylinder and guidewire, thereby eliminating tissue destruction within a region different from the target region.
