FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: compressor includes frame (10) made of one or more modules (20) of similar size and shape, in each of which there made is a separate chamber (16) intended for arrangement of crank-and-rod mechanisms of each individual cylinder (12). In addition, each of the above modules (20) contains a pair of opposite side walls (22, 24) and one or several fasteners (26). They provide the possibility of rigid attachment to each other of two or more of the above said similar modules (20) at adjacent location of their corresponding side walls so that creation of frame (10) for devices operating using fluid medium and equipped with two or more cylinders (12) is provided. In each of the above opposite side walls (22 and 24) of each module (20) there is round hole (34) providing passage of the above crankshaft.
EFFECT: invention allows using a structure with a drive from one shaft, which can be adapted to different types of compressor due to a modular structure.
