SUBSTANCE: while operating the accumulator battery with accumulators mounted into the cold plate temperature of the cold plate is controlled additionally, temperature gradient is calculated between accumulators and the cold plate and this temperature gradient is used to assess when the controlled low-level charge of accumulators is reached. At that temperature gradient is differentiated in time, and controlled low-level charge is reached when the current value of this differential is more than zero after preceding sustainable zero state.
EFFECT: improvement of functional reliability of nickel-hydrogen battery operation method.
