FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cleaning of cartridge filters of dust catching units. Proposed method comprises switching off of the unit air exhauster to create pulsed airflow inside the filter for 8-10 s by turbofan fitted on shaft aligned with filter there inside, removing dirt from filter outer surface and changing dust catching unit into standard operating conditions by switching on of air exhauster. Proposed device is composed of turbofan with two turbine blades fitted on motor shaft. Note here that blade OD is smaller than filter ID. Blade OD-to-filter ID ratio makes D2/D1=0.95-0.97. Note also that distance between point of crimp and blade edge makes 10-12 mm, while D2 is blade edge OD, D1 is filter ID.
EFFECT: faster cleaning, higher degree of cleaning.
