FIELD: rescue equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to emergency inflatable rescue means of pilot and the passenger when landing the aircraft. The gas generator comprises a pyrotechnic charge and a gas cylinder. The inlet and outlet channels of the gas cylinder are closed by the inlet and outlet membranes which through the washers are pressed with the nuts against the stop to the cylinder, providing sealing of the cylinder in the inoperative position. The inlet and outlet channels in cross section are made in the form of circular arcs bounded by the chords, the edges on the arcs are made sharp, on the chords they are made blunt.

EFFECT: increased reliability of the gas generator operation is achieved.
