SUBSTANCE: information processing device includes a data storage unit which associates and stores section information which indicates one section of a building structure, first measurement information obtained by measuring intensity of a wireless signal transmitted by a neighbouring base station in a wireless communication terminal located on said section, and base station identification information. The information processing device includes a receiving unit which receives, from the wireless communication terminal, a segment of second measurement information obtained by measuring intensity of a wireless signal in a wireless communication terminal, and a segment of base station identification information, which indicates a base station which is the wireless signal transmission source. Furthermore, the information processing device includes a selection unit which selects section information associated with the segment of first measurement information, based on the segment of first measurement information associated with the segment of base station identification information, received by the receiving unit, and the segment of second measurement information, received by the receiving unit. The information processing device includes a unit for evaluating the relationship between positions of obtaining the segment of first measurement information and the segment of second measurement information based on the segment of first measurement information extracted by an extraction unit, and second measurement information associated with the same base station identification information as the segment of first measurement information, from the segment of second measurement information received by the receiving unit.
EFFECT: enabling location of a wireless communication terminal in a building or a structure even in a case when the position of each base station in that building or structure is not accurately registered in advance.
