FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to separation of multicomponent gas mixes and can be used for extraction of neon-helium mix as byproduct. Proposed unit comprises reducing device with inlet connected with neon-helium mix source composed of air separation unit, booster compressor with suction and pressure lines, target product discharge pipeline and gas separation unit made up of two interconnected first and second diaphragm devices. Low-pressure chamber of the first diaphragm device is communicated via booster compressor with high-pressure chamber of the second diaphragm device. High-pressure chamber discharge line of the latter communicates with high-pressure chamber of the first diaphragm device. Low-pressure chambers of both diaphragm devices are directly connected with booster compressor suction line while discharge line of the latter is connected with pipeline. High-pressure chamber of second diaphragm device is connected to said pressure line via reducing device.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of concentration.
