FIELD: obtaining a gas permeable membrane for the selective extraction of target components from gas mixtures.
SUBSTANCE: modified quartz glass is used as a membrane, the structure of which is modified in three stages. First, the glass melting process is carried out at a temperature of 2000 K in a helium atmosphere at a pressure of 4 to 10 GPa. Then the melt is cooled to a temperature of 1400 to 1600 K at a pressure of 4 to 10 GPa. Then pressure relief to 101,3 kPa is carried out, the temperature is dropped to 300 K at a pressure of 101,3 kPa.
EFFECT: increase in membrane permeability to helium while increasing or maintaining He/Ne selectivity, profitability, simplification of the gas separation process, increasing its efficiency and productivity.
