FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy. Proposed method comprises impregnating carbon cloth fibers with aluminium melt. Melt 1 s pouted into crucible 2 fitted on inductor connected to magnetic-pulse unit. Carbon cloth 4 is arranged above said crucible. Eddy currents in melt and magnetic field interact to generate force repelling the melt from inductor. Said melt penetrates into cloth interfibrillar spaces.
EFFECT: melt flow tossing improves wetting of matrix metal and reinforcing fibers to increase composite quality.
