FIELD: construction; locks.
SUBSTANCE: key for a cylinder lock comprises at least one coded side surface located along the longitudinal direction of the key. On the side surface there is at least one coding for scanning in the cylindrical lock. Encoding has the first scanned surface located in the longitudinal direction of the key and the second scanned surface located in the longitudinal direction of the key. Scanned surfaces are located in the transverse direction of the key with an offset relative to each other. Scanned surfaces are located in longitudinal direction with displacement relative to each other and in their cross-section have the shape of continuous periodic curve. Curves are made in the form of sinusoidal or cosine curves formed by at least one full length of the period. Also disclosed is a system of a key and a scanning element of a cylindrical lock for scanning the encoding for locking the cylindrical lock.
EFFECT: providing the implementation of the key with its encodings, which provide multiple additional variable capabilities, and the formed encodings are as complex as possible for copying and duplication.
