SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automotive industry, particularly, to brake systems. Proposed method consists in initiation of emergency braking process. In initiation of emergency braking process, driver is warned and, at a time or with time delay, vehicle emergency preset deceleration is set and/or controlled proceeding from influence parameter defined before and/or during emergency braking and related to emergency braking process. Then, in case preset threshold value of said influence parameters related to emergency braking process is exceeded, two emergency braking deceleration phases are set that feature different magnitudes of emergency braking deceleration. Note also that magnitude of deceleration of deceleration phases and/or deceleration phase duration are defined by influence parameter related to emergency braking process.

EFFECT: perfected emergency braking.
