FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: object of measurement is based in an inclined body by means of its installation with a hole onto two centering fingers, providing at the same time contact of a metering feeler with one of side surfaces of the inspected slot. Mutual angular position of the measurement object and the inclined body is verified by reciprocal-rotary motions of the object in centering fingers and a feeler with a stem around the axis of the specified stem. Reciprocal-rotary motions of the feeler are carried out in a plane parallel to longitudinal axes of centering fingers, reaching at the same time invariability of readings of a count head as the metering feeler contacts with the side surface in two extreme points in direction of the slot depth. The first count is taken. The feeler is put in contact with the other side surface of the slot, the second count is taken. The feeler is rotated around the longitudinal axis of the stem and is moved along this axis, striving for its alignment in a locating prism, which is achieved by simultaneous contact of the side working surface of the feeler and working surfaces of the locating prism. The third count is taken. By the difference of the first two counts and with account of the feeler diameter they define the slot width, and by the half-difference of two swings calculated accordingly by differences of the first and third, second and third counts, the deviation from symmetry is determined.
EFFECT: higher accuracy and possibility to measure parameters of a slot mismatched with a part hole.
