SUBSTANCE: version of the invention provides a device (10) for inputting a colour selection, having a means (12) of selecting colour hue, which represents selected colours in form of a colour hue scale on its direction, a means (14) of selecting saturation, which represents the selected saturation scale on its direction. The means (12) of selecting colour hue and the means (14) of selecting saturation are arranged such that they include an overlapping region (16), and the means (14) of selecting saturation is transparent and shaded from completely transparent to completely white for viewing the colour hue and saturation selection in the overlapping region (16), and a means (18) of detecting positions of the means (12) of selecting colour hue and the means (14) of selecting saturation and generating a colour selection signal (19) depending on the detected positions.
EFFECT: easier navigation of colour space of colour hue and saturation.
