SUBSTANCE: invention relates to lighting engineering. Lighting control device is intended to control one or several lighting parameters for each light source. Lighting control device comprises at least the first user interface element, a unit controlling external view of the element, a unit controlling the light setting and memory to save at least the first light setting, at that the first light setting comprises values of one or several light parameters. The unit controlling the light setting is made so that it can set lighting parameters in compliance with the first light setting in response to entry from the first user interface element. The unit controlling external view of the element is made so that it can set the first external view associated with the first user interface element based on at least one parameter of the first light setting.

EFFECT: simplified control of the light sources.
