FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, namely to labour hygiene and human physiology, and can be applied for predicting functional thermal state of a person in heating air environment. For this purpose temperature and relative humidity of air environment of production premises are determined. Time of continuous stay of a person in said air environment is measured. After that, integral index of functional thermal state of a person (IIFS) is calculated by certain mathematical formula. If IIFS value is higher than 62.8 points, impermissible functional state of a person working in heating air environment is predicted. If IIFS value is lower than 62.8 points but higher than 52.6 points, maximum-permissible functional state of a person is predicted, if IIFS value is lower than 52.6 points but higher than 38.8 points, permissible functional state is predicted, if IIFS value is lower than 38.8 points, optimal functional thermal state of a person working in heating air environment is predicted.

EFFECT: method ensures increase of accuracy in prediction of functional thermal state of a person working in heating air environment in case of work in closed premises and makes it possible to take measures aimed at reduction of unfavourable impact of thermal factors of said environment in due time.
