SUBSTANCE: method of generating an interrogation signal for a surface acoustic wave (SAW) sensor with reflecting structures involves generating a radio signal, wherein the interrogation signal consists of a series of two partial signals, the first providing maximisation of energy in second reflection from the reflecting structures of the SAW sensor, and the second partial signal provides maximisation of energy in first reflection from the reflecting structures of the SAW sensor, wherein surface acoustic waves from the first and second reflections are transmitted in-phase to an interdigital transducer.
EFFECT: high intensity of the reemitted wave.
