SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for controlling a furniture drive by means of an electronic control unit. The method for controlling a furniture drive that sets in motion the furniture element positioned so that to enable movement relative to the furniture casing includes the following stages: - regular exchange of data on the current drive condition between the drive and the electronic control unit within the time intervals set by the time interval (F), - regular determination of the threshold sensitivity value based on the condition data obtained by the electronic control unit within the time interval specified; - record of an ejection signal occurrence within the time interval; - comparison of the threshold sensitivity value to that of the ejection signal; - ejection process implementation in case the ejection signal is in excess of the threshold sensitivity value or; - ejection signal ignoring in case the ejection signal is less than the threshold sensitivity value.

EFFECT: invention is aimed at ensuring the possibility of the drive accidental or unintentional start.
