FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to separation of disperse particles and may be used in oil, gas, chemical industries, etc. Proposed separator comprises vertical cylindrical housing with upper and lower bottoms, inlet pipe, outlet pipe and drain pipe and horizontal baffle with openings. Inlet pipe is located inside the housing, above said baffle. Outlet pipe is located at upper bottom and furnished with tube, tube lower part being arranged below said baffle. At least, some openings are provided with deflector plates secured to one side of said openings and flexed downward in gas-fluid mix flow direction. Tube lower part is closed by cover. Tube lateral side under said baffle has openings. Perforated piston with spring to contract coalescing material arranged between piston and cover is fitted inside the tube.
EFFECT: stable performances, no servicing is required.
