FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to equipment for automatic vehicle maneuvering in parking with the help of capacitive detectors. Sensor 2 comprises sensor site 6 for detection of object by measuring sensor site impedance variation in observation zone. Additionally, it comprises rear focusing plate 8 arranged behind sensor zone site 6 relative to observation zone and first surrounding focusing plate 10 arranged around sensor site 6. Sensor 2 comprises signal generator to excite sensor site 6 and focusing plates 8, 10 by identical signals of preset voltage phase, frequency and amplitude. Besides it incorporates, at least, second surrounding focusing plate 14 arranged around first surrounding focusing plate 10. Second surrounding focusing plate is excited by signals other than those fed to sensor plate 6.
EFFECT: efficient parking due to higher sensitivity of sensor not liable to parasitic earthing.
