FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to assembly of automotive green tires. Proposed method comprises assembly of carcass of structural element at first forming drum at appropriate assembly line including set of working stations arranged in compliance with sequential line. It comprises also assembly of crown structural element at second forming drum at appropriate assembly line including set of working station arranged sequential line. Besides it includes shaping carcass structural element to torus in its assembly with crown structural element at forming and assembly station. Note here that displacements of first forming drum and second forming drum along with elements from one workstation of assembly line to another one include displacement from first station to second station, not adjacent to first station in said sequential line. Note also that every displacement is carried out so that first forming drum and second forming drum get to first and second stations without passing through other workstations.
EFFECT: reduced idle time, higher flexibility of assembly line and efficiency.
