SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises the following stages, i.e. producing toroidal green tires in progress at least one line. Production of every green tire in progress comprises assembling the tire carcass representing a cylindrical hose consisting of at least one carcass layer coupled with circular reinforcing structures, and forming toroidal shape of aforesaid carcass. It includes also temporary storage of produced green tires in progress, transfer of aforesaid tires to at least one final assembly station whereat at least one continuous long element made from untreated elastomer is applied onto green tire in progress along preset trajectory. Here, note, that tread band is made at the latter stage. Tire production plant comprises at least one line of assembling green tires in progress that includes at least one device to assembly cylindrical-hose carcass structures and one device to form toroidal shape of carcass structures. Carcass structures comprise one carcass layer coupled with circular reinforcing elements space axially apart. Assembly line comprises one accumulating station and one final assembly station consisting of one element designed to feed continuous long element dame of untreated elastomer and at least two units to process green ties in progress fed from the assembly line.
EFFECT: higher flexibility of assembly.
