FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: what is presented is a method for prediction of the clinical course of non-Hodgkin lymphomas involving the DNA recovery from peripheral venous blood lymphocytes, PCR and restriction of the amplification products. That is followed by genetic typing of the polymorphous locus 309T>G of MDM2 gene. If observing the genotype TT in the patient, the indolent form of non-Hodgkin lymphomas if predicted; the genotype TG shows the aggressive form of non-Hodgkin lymphomas, and the genotype GG testifies to the highly aggressive form of the non-Hodgkin lymphomas.
EFFECT: providing an additional criterion for the assessment and prediction of the clinical course of non-Hodgkin lymphomas.
