FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment and is intended for prevention and treatment of respiratory disorders during sleep in combination with bruxism, both in absence and in presence of disorders of nasal breathing. Apparatus consists of two acrylic mouth guards which are put on upper and lower jaws. Apparatus projects lower jaw forward with respect to upper one for therapeutic position, facilitating passage of air through respiratory tract. Identical vertical projections 3 are made in lower jaw mouth guard from both sides in the area of respective first molars on vestibular side. Pushers 5 are movably fixed on upper jaw mouth guard 1 on the right and on the left on vestibular side in the area between first and second molars. Pushers 5 are made in form of projections 6, directed towards lower jaw mouth guard 2. Projections 3 and 6 adjoin smoothed lateral surface of opposite mouth guard from vestibular side. Distal sides 4 and medial sides 7 of projections 3, 6 are made respectively at angle 70 - 75° to occlusion plane of mouth guards 1, 2 and are tightly pressed to each other in working position. Lower 3 and upper 6 projections overlap boundaries of vestibular surface of respective mouth guards 1 and 2. Boundary of low jaw mouth guard 2 from tongue surface passes below teeth necks, and palate boundary of upper jaw mouth guard 1 overlaps transverse folds and passes above teeth necks.

EFFECT: simplification of application, increased physiologicity, comfort, service term.
