FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to dentistry, and is intended for use in treating the patients with muscular-articular temporomandibular joint (TMJ) dysfunction. Intraoral occlusion apparatus comprises an uncoupling occlusal mandibular splint made of dental plastic. Uncoupling occlusal mandibular splint in the area of the incisors is provided with a projecting anterior occlusal slope designed for guiding the incisors and being the front guide, and in canine area there are occlusal ridges for canine guide in process of lower jaw movement for laterotrusion movement formation, distal segments of the splint are made in the form of adjustable pelotes, performing the function of the rear balancing guide intended for recovery of condyle movement, and in the area of the premolars and molars projection, the splint has an occlusal surface configured to form occlusion contacts corresponding to the central occlusion, on the vestibular side in the area of the first lower premolars on the right and on the left the splint is equipped with wire bent clammers, and on the cheek surface of canines there are projections for additional fixation of the apparatus.

EFFECT: use of the apparatus enables, by creating the operating principle of the first-type lever during operation of the device: the lever acts on the condyle with a force applied to the mesial portion of the canine and resting on the distal portion of the upper seventh tooth, reduces traumatism, and ensure balanced balancing of condyle movement in articular fossa.
