FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device comprises sensor composed of optical sensor and two capacitance sensors arranged in one plane, and has two, near and far, sensitive zone. In case the article displaces in near zone it interacts with successively with first (second) capacitance sensor, optical sensor and second (first) capacitance sensor. Note here that signal indicating article displacement direction is generated by first (second) sensor. In case first and second outputs are connected the device changes in single-output position transducer. The device changes in said transducer with the help of controlled articles by displacing them axially in the limits of near and far zones. By building it in metallic article the device is converted in two-output position transducer.
