FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: device comprises an optical sensitive element in the form of an infrared photodetector and two inductive sensitive elements installed in one plane, connected to inputs of appropriate threshold elements, a unit of initial state installation, two logical AND elements, two triggers, two units of indication connected to direct outputs of appropriate triggers, made in the form of open outputs of H-type. The distance of action of the zone of sensitive of the optical sensitive element along the axis of symmetry of its optical window exceeds the distance of action of sensitivity areas of the first and second inductive sensitive elements along axes of symmetry of surfaces of their open ends. The device is transformed into a selective sensor of position monitoring in heated metal items, when the first and second outputs of the device are connected to each other either with the help of controlled items by means of their axial displacement serially into the limits of the far and near zones of the device sensitivity areas.
