SUBSTANCE: mobile station selects a cell of stay from the first cell using the first carrier frequency and the second cell using the second carrier frequency, different from the first carrier frequency. The method includes a step of change in the mobile station of the cell of stay from the first cell to the second cell, if the cell of stay is the first cell. The priority level of the second cell is equal to the priority level of the first cell, and the sum of the radio communication quality value in the second cell and the predetermined allowance is more than the sum of the radio communication quality value in the first cell and the predetermined parameter.

EFFECT: provision for selection of a cell of stay under conditions of simultaneous availability of cells that belong to a closed group of subscribers and macrocells.
