FIELD: fire-fighting facilities.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemical fire extinguishing means, namely, the fire extinguishing compositions containing gas-forming chemically active agents and can be used to suppress fire sources in closed spaces. The pyrotechnic aerosol-forming composition for 3D fire fighting comprises a complex oxidant containing potassium iodate and potassium nitrate in a ratio of 5:1, the organic fuel-binder - iditol and as a gas-forming agent - double mixture of hexamine and urea.
EFFECT: invention provides expanding of the field of a safe, efficient use of a functionally reliable pyrotechnic composition, in which gas-aerosol products of combustion with the temperature half as much as in analogues, there are virtually no toxic and harmful substances.
