SUBSTANCE: invention relates to polymer-based composite materials, particularly as structural materials for making friction assemblies, where use of lubricants and water is restricted or unacceptable. The composition contains low-pressure polyethylene and a copper polycomplex of polyacrylamide as an additive, the composition of which includes a Nd complex of structural formula bis-[2-(2-oxo-3,5-di-tert-butylphenyl-amino)-4,6-di-tert-butyl-cyclohexa-3,5-dienone]Nd.
EFFECT: obtained composition is characterised by low frictional coefficient and high hardness, and also has low linear and weight wear.
