FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: item is cyclically loaded from zero with gradually increasing amplitude to occurrence of signals of acoustic emission prior to completion of unloading, and using the average for maximum loads of two last cycles, the maximum nondestructive load of the item is assessed, besides, if signals of acoustic emission occur before completion of unloading, the coordinates of its source (defect) are determined, as well as amplitudes and loads of occurrence of these signals, afterwards cyclic loading is continued with increase of amplitude, after each unloading the coordinates of new sources of signals of acoustic emission are determined, as well as amplitudes and loads of signal occurrence, variation of the amplitude and load of signal occurrence is monitored for each source from a cycle to a cycle, and if they increase in one of the sources, loading is stopped.
EFFECT: increased accuracy of determination of maximum nondestructive load for items under conditions of simple bending.
