METHOD OF DETERMINING INDICATIONS FOR PHOTODYNAMIC THERAPY OF CHRONIC CENTRAL SEROUS CHORIORETINOPATHY Russian patent published in 2013 - IPC A61B5/145 A61F9/00 A61N5/67

Abstract RU 2495620 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to ophthalmology, and can be used for determination of indications for photodynamic therapy in case of chronic central serous chorioretinopathy (CCSC). For this purpose level of noradrenalin and adrenalin is measured in blood serum. If value of noradrenalin is 550 pg/ml and higher and/or value of adrenalin 95 pg/ml, photodynamic therapy is carried out.

EFFECT: method ensures adequate selection of treatment tactics in said category of patients with refusal from carrying out photodynamic therapy with absence of therapeutic effect and possible development of complications, associated with said therapy.
