FIELD: electropolishing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of electropolishing the internal surfaces of parts made of metals and alloys and can be used for processing hollow blades of turbomachines, as well as cavities of parts obtained by selective sintering to improve their performance. The method includes placing an electrode and an electrically conductive medium in the inner cavity of the part, ensuring contact between the electrically conductive medium and the electrode and the workpiece surface, supplying an electrical potential of the opposite sign to the part and the conductive medium through the metal electrode introduced into the said medium. In this case, a metal electrode with a continuous shell made of an anion exchanger material is used, and as an electrically conductive medium, a liquid electrolyte and a shell of a metal electrode, made with the possibility of its impregnation with an electrolyte that ensures the electrical conductivity of the shell. A flexible metal electrode is used, located inside the anion exchanger shell.
EFFECT: improving the quality and reliability of polishing the inner surface of parts, especially hard-to-reach cavities of complex shape.
