FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, particularly, decontamination of grain. The method of grain decontamination comprises grain processing with the microwave field which is applied in a layer of material intermittently to move moisture in caryopsis from its center to the surface. Then, using the microwave field the surface of caryopsis is heated to the limiting maximum temperature value, depending on the type of grain. After that the grain is exposed at this temperature periodically treating the grain layer with the microwave field. Then the grain is cooled with air saturated with ozone at a concentration of 0.16 g/m3 to 2 g/m3 depending on the initial degree of the grain contamination and the required parameters of the grain contamination. Upon cooling, the grain material is stirred.

EFFECT: method enables to improve the grain decontamination effect, to increase productivity and reduce material consumption of the process.
