FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, cardiology and can be used for determining cardiac syndrome X (CSX). Assessment of state of coronary arteries is performed by complex instrumental examination: positron-emission tomography with 82Rb-chloride, which includes examination of heart at rest, with further carrying out exercise-cold test. During test patient's right lower extremity and periclavicular regions are simultaneously cooled. Patient's right lower extremity is cooled by submerging shin up to upper third into cold water with ice. Cardiac syndrome X is determined by formula: f = -0.0433·MBFRCA(c)+0.0432MBFLAD(c)+0.0764·MBFRCA(r)- 0.0719·MBFLAD(r)-0.625, where f is diagnostic index, MBF RCA is blood flow in right coronary artery, MBF LAD is blood flow in anterior interventricular coronary artery, c is cold test, r is rest. If value f=-0.5-(3.0), cardiac syndrome X is diagnosed.

EFFECT: method ensures non-invasiveness of test, increased accuracy of diagnostic method, elimination of risk of complications and simplification of test method.
