FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: furnace unit includes an electric arc furnace, a cleaning device for removal and/or elimination of molten metal blocking the access from or inside a furnace maintenance hatch; with that, the cleaning device includes a moving lever of impact action for performance of impact movement and means for movement of the lever of impact action between paring level (P) and production level (B), a working platform forming working level (A), from which there is an access to the furnace maintenance hatch and on which there located is the cleaning device; besides, on working level (A) of the working platform there is an opening for passage of the lever of impact action during movement between production level (B) located above working level (A) and parking level (P) located below working level (A).
EFFECT: invention allows improving cleaning efficiency of a furnace maintenance hatch due to convenient location of the cleaning device and distribution of weight load between a working platform and the cleaning device.
