FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine. Spinal expandable implant contains first and second bearing surfaces, intended for movement towards each other in the process of implant expansion; at least, first and second opposite ends, connected with each of bearing surfaces; and holding link for holding implant in expanded configuration, in which: holding element contains first end, connected with first end of implant, and second end, connected with second end of implant. First gearing element is installed in immediate vicinity to second end of holding element for getting into gear with second gearing element, installed on second end of implant. Gearing between first and second gearing element in fact prevents movement of second implant end from first implant end. Expandable implant contains first and second bearing surfaces, at least, first and second opposite end links, connected with each of bearing surfaces; holding element; and at least, a pair of supports, connected with, at least, one of bearing surfaces. First and second surfaces are intended for moving away from each other in the process of implant expansion. At least one of bearing surfaces is additionally connected with, at least, one of end links. First support of the pair includes first gearing element, second support of the pair includes second gearing element. When implant expands at preliminary specified value, at least, section of first gearing element comes into gear with, at least, section of second gearing element to prevent movement of end links towards each other. Method of restoration of space between two surfaces in accordance with the first version contains the following stages: introduction of expandable implant between two surfaces, with expandable implant including reduced and expanded configuration, as well as positioning implant between two surfaces and expansion of implant from reduced configuration into expanded configuration and restoration of space in this way. Implant contains first and second bearing surfaces, intended for moving away from each other in accordance with plane of expansion as implant expands; first and second opposite link, connected with each of bearing surfaces; and holding element for holding implant in expanded configuration. Method of restoring space between two surfaces in accordance with the second version contains the following stages: introduction of expandable implant, with expandable implant including reduced and expanded configuration, positioning implant between surfaces; and expansion of implant from reduced configuration into expanded configuration and restoring space in this way. Implant contains: first and second opposite plates, at least, first and second opposite end links, connected with each of opposite plates, holding element; and at least, a pair of first and second supports, connected with, at least, one of first and second supports, connected with, at least one of first and second plates, and additionally connected with, at least, one of first and second end links. At least, one of the pair of first and second supports contains first gearing element and second gearing element for coming into gear with first gearing element. First and second plates are intended for moving away from each other according to plane of expansion as implant expands. At least, one of end links includes a hole, made with possibility of receiving one end of holding element.
EFFECT: inventions ensure prevention of complications with spine and reduction of backache; as well as restoration of spine.
