FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medicine. A method for accelerating the wound healing is implemented by wound coating with a cooling wound dressing (10) containing a wound covering (12). The wound covering (12) comprises a wound contact layer (16) having a wound contact surface (20) and containing a wound cleaning material (40). A cooling wound dressing (10) comprises a heat-absorbing layer (50) connected with a thermal current with a wound contact layer (16). The heat-absorbing layer (50) removes heat from the wound contact layer (16) and reduces temperature of the wound contact surface (20) below the ambient temperature. The wound contact layer (16) represents a porous matrix (30) allowing the aqueous liquids diffusing freely into and through the matrix. The matrix contains a fibre material (32) impregnated with the wound cleaning material (40) comprising a composition of natural hyaluronic acid. The heat-absorbing layer (50) contains a hydrated superabsorbent polymer (70) which is hydrated from approximately 10 to 90% of the polymer mixer.
EFFECT: group of inventions enables faster wound healing, liquid retention and wound secretion absorption.
