FIELD: medical products.

SUBSTANCE: wound bandage system contains a stretchable absorbing base with a longitudinally passing axial line, an axial line passing in a transverse direction, and a contour. The absorbing base has the first surface, the second surface and an elasticity module. The second surface is opposite to the first surface. Fixing glue contacts with at least part of the second surface of the absorbing base. A covering layer has an elasticity module. The covering layer is glued to the second surface of the absorbing base by means of fixing glue. The elasticity module of the absorbing base is equal to or less than the elasticity module of the covering layer. The elasticity module is calculated by measuring “stretching” in accordance with a derivative version of ASTM-D882, a standard method for testing the tensile strength of thin plastic sheets (ASTM International, West Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, 2016), using a grip distance of 50 mm and initial deformation speed of 10 mm/mm*min, right after obtaining a load expansion curve, as described in ASTM D882, the elasticity module is determined by tangent to the initial linear part of the load expansion curve, selection of any point along this tangent, and division of stretching stress by corresponding deformation.
