SUBSTANCE: group of inventions includes a customer replaceable unit module (CRUM) and a replaceable unit, permitting individual calculation of control conditions, an image generation device, using such devices, and a method to control such device. The replaceable unit for participation in the task of image generation by the image generation device includes a memory device to store control conditions in it, corresponding to the working environment, a detection device to observe the working environment, a control device for detection of the appropriate control condition in the memory device, if the detection device detects the control environment, and an interface device for supply of the main part of the image generation device with the detected appropriate control condition. Accordingly, the replaceable device may be controlled under the optimal control conditions.
EFFECT: provision of a customer replaceable unit module, a replaceable unit permitting individual calculation of control conditions, an image generation device, using such devices, and a method to excite such device for provision of a high quality image due to individual calculations of control conditions, to an image generation device for control of a replaceable device on the basis of the calculated control conditions and a method to excite such device.
