SUBSTANCE: declared group of inventions relates to the image forming device configured to verify a consumable module with, at least, one from the detection list and the information list of the converting serial item, and to the verification method. The claimed group of inventions includes a chip for controlling the replaceable user modules (CRUM), an image forming device, a verification method of the image forming device consumable modules, a server device and a circuit communication method for controlling the replaceable user modules (CRUM). Herewith the chip for controlling the replaceable user modules (CRUM) comprises an interface configured to communicate with the image forming device, and a storage unit configured to store the verification information for the consumable module. The information includes a serial item information of the CRUM-circuit and an information list of the converting serial item comprising the information pieces of the converting serial items, each of which is converted from the serial item information according to the plurality of different predetermined rules. Herewith, at least, one information piece is provided to the image forming device using the interface for the consumable module verification. The information list of the converting serial item further comprises a trigger bit to designate, at least, one information piece of the converting serial item, to be used for verification, from the information pieces of the converting serial item.
EFFECT: elimination of the consumable module installing problem, which is not suitable for the image forming device, or the non-genuine low-quality consumable module, that is, to provide a proper verification technology for the consumable module.
