SUBSTANCE: device includes a main housing, which includes a main controller, controlling operations of the device, a consumption unit, installed in the main housing with possibility of data exchange with the main controller, and CRUM-module, which is provided in the flow unit and stores information with respect to the consuming unit. Main controller and CRUM-module transmit and receive signals, which include data and integrity determination data, to each other. Integrity determination data are generated by accumulation and analysis of integrity determination data included in the previous signal.
EFFECT: technical result consists in reduction of errors of communication between flow control unit and image forming apparatus.
