SUBSTANCE: filtration and compensation device of a traction energy system comprises serially connected the main switch with a closing auxiliary contact and a control panel for its connection, the first reactor and the first section of capacitors, the second section of capacitors with the parallel connected second reactor, and the third section of capacitors with the third reactor and a damping resistor connected between a point of connection of the second and third sections of capacitors and the rail. The device design includes a contactor with a drive connected between the third reactor and the rail, and the circuit of contactor connection connects the control panel with its drive via the closing auxiliary contact of the main switch.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of current surge reduction and voltage with simultaneous device simplification.
