SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy. Hot strip coil B with temperature over 200°C is displaced inside case 4 of power recovery device 2 in first direction of translation and blown by gaseous medium G. Gas G flows over coil B to take up power emitted from hot strip coil B. Flow of said gas G is set in direction opposite the first direction of said translation.
EFFECT: higher efficiency.
