SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the production of furniture, namely the mechanisms of transformation of items of soft furniture. The transformation mechanism comprises a supporting element and a platform for fixing to the sleeping berth, which are interconnected by means of two pivot levers, and a unit of movement of the bed-clothes box with the intermediate element. Moreover, the mechanism comprises a gas-filled rest which ends are hingedly connected on the supporting element and on the site for attachment. The unit of movement of the of the bed-clothes box is equipped with a bracket for its attaching, made with the ability of its hinge connection on the lower plane of the sleeping berth of soft furniture and rotational movement together with the bed-clothes box around axis of hinging mount of the bracket on the lower plane of the sleeping berth. The pivot levers are made of different size. The intermediate element is made in the form of a rod, which with one its end is pivotally mounted on the middle part of a large pivot lever, and with the other it is hingedly connected to the bracket for mounting the bed-clothes box for propulsion it the rotational movement.

EFFECT: provision of the ability of a simple extension of the bed-clothes box in the most comfortable position for its use.
