FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: declared invention refers to implanted medical devices, particularly to methods for simulating pulse coding of the implanted devices. The technical effect is ensured by the fact that the implanted device comprises a multiple-channel electrode matrix, a detector, a unit for pulse selection and amplitude detection determines a set of output pulses in the pre-set moments of time specified in a set of requested pulse time distributions on the basis of a disable feature of pulse selection enabling the time selection of fewer pulses at high frequencies, stimulant amplitude related to each output pulse for each set of pulse release request distributions. The multiple-channel electrode matrix applies the output pulses with the respective amplitude to surrounding tissues.
EFFECT: provided coding of the audio signal time characteristics with higher time accuracy and longer pulse lengths.
